The Professional Culinary Academy’s well-rounded program is designed to prepare you for a new culinary career by giving you the education, skills training, and confidence you’ll need to succeed.
At the Professional Culinary Academy, we believe that well-rounded, career-specific education leads to a rewarding, successful future. Our Commercial Cooking Plus Externship prepares students for entry into the culinary industry with a variety of courses, including standard knife skills, industry terminology, intense food prep methods, catering skills, menu planning, and plating styles. In this program, students will also be exposed to a variety of international and regional cuisines. Get ready to cook!
Commercial Cooking Plus Externship
Our goal at the Professional Culinary Academy is to prepare students for successful careers in the culinary industry. The commercial cooking theory is complemented by hands-on training in industry-standard kitchens. In this approach, we’re able to help future professional cooks awaken their talents and passion for food while earning a quality education in culinary skills needed to compete for entry-level employment in the culinary field.
Commercial Cooking Plus Externship: 600 Hours
Gain a deeper appreciation for the practical side of commercial food preparation with hands-on learning in the Commercial Cooking Plus Externship. Graduates of this program gain an advantage in preparation for careers in restaurants, corporate, and other food service departments in a variety of entry-level positions, including prep cook, line cook, or garde manager.
